Checkertail Clan in mourning

I am posting this to show my respect to the crew and the aircraft that was N1451D. Firstly I don't normally post pictures of aircraft that have been involved in incidents. I don't believe that this is correct as people do so sometimes just to increase their views. Sadly yesterday 4th July, the warbirds community lost two crew and a 1944 P51 after the aircraft departed Durango, CO. I was well acquainted with this aircraft and know it was highly maintained and well looked after, like all warbird aircraft they are pampered aircraft. When you look at my portfolio on AP you will see a number of shots of "Checkertail Clan" Indeed I was talking to the owner about a couple of images at the start of the year. Sadly , "Checkertail" will no longer be with us, and indeed the crew to how's families I offer my condolences
