Author's remark: | This E-2C Hawkeye Radar/Command and Control aircraft rests on the deck of the USS Midway. The two visible bridge areas behind the radar dome are where the ship is controlled or helmed from. The captain and crew navigate the ship, handle all ship manoeuvring and fighting the ship from there. The air wing is directed from Pri-Fly which is visible between the radar dome and the propeller on the aircraft. |
