Author's remark: The out-of-service date for the Hawk T.1 has recently been extended to 2040, although 208 Sqn will be phased out shortly as 4 Sqn’s T.2s take on the international training role. The redundant Valley aircraft will become part of an overall fleet capable of supporting 100 Sqn, 736 Naval Air Sqn and the Red Arrows throughout the decades to come.
